Nano, a low-latency cryptocurrency built on an innovative block-lattice data structure offering unlimited scalability and no transaction fees. Nano by design is a simple protocol with the sole purpose of being a high-performance cryptocurrency. The Nano protocol can run on low-power hardware, allowing it to be a practical, decentralized cryptocurrency for everyday use. The original Nano (RailBlocks) paper and first beta implementation were published in December, 2014, making it one of the first Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based cryptocurrencies [6]. Soon after, other DAG cryptocurrencies began to develop, most notably DagCoin/Byteball and IOTA. These DAG-based cryptocurrencies broke the blockchain mold, improving system performance and security. Byteball achieves consensus by relying on a “main-chain” comprised of honest, reputable and user-trusted “witnesses”, while IOTA achieves consensus via the cumulative PoW of stacked transactions. Nano achieves consensus via a balance-weighted vote on conflicting transactions. This consensus system provides quicker, more deterministic transactions while still maintaining a strong, decentralized system. Nano continues this development and has positioned itself as one of the highest performing cryptocurrencies. Nano is a trustless, feeless, low-latency cryptocurrency that utilizes a novel blocklattice structure and delegated Proof of Stake voting. The network requires minimal resources, no high-power mining hardware, and can process high transaction throughput. All of this is achieved by having individual blockchains for each account, eliminating access issues and inefficiencies of a global data-structure. Nano has been around for several years now and has worked flawlessly (instant transactions and free) up until an orchestrated attack occurred recently. This blocked the network and caused transactions to get stuck. The Devs took action, released updates to the network, and transaction speeds are rapidly getting back to where they were before. Speaks volumes about the team behind Nano that they were able to take action so quickly, especially considering how long Nano has been around. So no, it clearly isn’t a scam coin.

Nano is the ideal digital currency with unmatched fundamentals. More awareness is needed around the project but long-term it has potential to become disruptive to the whole system.

Been into Nano (Raiblocks) since 2017. It does exactly what Bitcoin tried to do but without any of the negatives. Don’t take my word for it, though- Do your own research.

Hello. Anyone reading this. I have few points to make why I like nano. 1. Nano is instant. Transactions are confirmed in less than one second. 2. Nano is deflationary. There was created at start created 133,248,298 nothing more. 5% of that is developers fund other coins were distributed thru captcha for free to anyone willing to solve captchas. So distribution was fair. If ETH can have such high price and it is inflationary nano as deflationary asset can have similar or even better price.. Based on comparison between how many nano and ETH coins exist. 3. Nano transactions are feeless from start. If you send 1 nano receiving party will receive 1 nano not some fractions because of fees. 4. Nano is ecological whole nano network can be sustained with one wind turbine to be payment system for whole world. 5. One of the most legitimate cryptos out there. I've used it many times for payment and it has always worked and been fast and had zero fees. Unfortunately, it looks like people from competing cryptocurrencies are downvoting it here.
