Karatgold Coin is a pyramid scheme, you get paid from enticing others to buy into the project. The crypto is also NOT backed by real gold and has lots of fake volume on some sketchy exchanges. Beware.

Far from a scam. This company has been a victim of a smear campaign and fake news run by a man named Marvin Steinberg. Please do a google search of him and what happened with Karatbars. He helped create the coin with Karatbars, then ran off with a database of billions of coins. He did this to at least two other companies. He then hires a Russian agency to conduct smear campaigns to manipulate the market prices where he can purchase some more coins and then sell them later. He recently got arrested in Dubai and from what I know company should be making an official announcement soon.
Karatbars is an extremely honorable and innovative company. It is advisable to learn more about the situation with Marvin Steinberg.

Karatgold runs software and uses marketing schemes that are nearly identical duplicates of what was used by "Crypto888" and its phony "Octacoin" several years ago. Replace the non-existent gold in Karatgold with the non-existent "Casino" in Crypto888 and you could hardly tell one web-site and its affiliates from the other.
I invested and lost over $175,000 in Crypto888 after being introduced by individuals that had all made over $100k in their first few months - same web-design, same worldwide promo tours, same spectacular announcements of greatness to come - but never did, same amazing expensive prizes given to super promoted and 'successful' appearing early adopters, same lies about the famous people involvement in advertising that never happen, same lies about innovative technology that keeps getting stalled (blame it on governments and regulators), same promise to be the savior of everyone when fiat money collapses, and on it goes.
And a whole lot of people made a whole lot of money in the beginning - so much that all of their friends, relatives, and associates were convinced to jump in with a whole lot more money, just in time for the owners to siphon off a few billion dollars that we know of, and disappear.
Karatgold / Karatcoin is identical. Complete and total pyramid so obvious that only the greedy and desperate believe in it. Unfortunately, they will all lose, maybe not money for the lucky early adopters, but they will definitely lose their credibility and many of their friends and family relationships when Karatgold founders abscond with the loot - and you can count on that.

I was suspicious of this company but I did make a small purchase though.Can’t log into my account and after providing evidence of who I am and proof of purchase.They don’t get back to me.
