Zetrix

Zetrix is a layer-1 public permissioned blockchain founded in 2021. It is described as a smart-contract platform intended to serve international markets outside China, and is presented as an extension or component of China’s national blockchain infrastructure, Xinghuo Blockchain Infrastructure (Xinghuo BIF). The project is led by MYEG Services Berhad and is said to be collaborating with the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). It also references a partnership with Bubi Technologies Co ltd.

Zetrix uses a consensus mechanism combining DPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake) and zBFT (Zetrix Byzantine Fault Tolerance). The description states that the cryptographic infrastructure supports privacy, security, and scalability. It reports a throughput capability of up to 10,000 transactions per second. The collaboration with MYEG Services Berhad and Bubi Technologies Co Ltd. is described as aiming to build supernodes within countries in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership using blockchain infrastructure.
