Starcoin

Starcoin is a blockchain protocol focused on the on-chain representation, issuance, and governance of real-world assets (RWA). The project implements selected functions of traditional investment banking—such as asset issuance, allocation logic, settlement coordination, custody integration, and governance—through smart contracts on public blockchains, specifically on Base.It emphasizes transparency, auditability, and regulatory alignment by encoding key processes (including allocation rules, settlement conditions, reserve disclosures, and compliance reporting) directly into verifiable on-chain logic. The goal is to reduce information asymmetry and operational opacity between traditional capital markets and on-chain environments.Starcoin was launched on October 12, 2025, with its native token STAR. The protocol aims to support compliant tokenization and circulation of real-world assets for use by institutional participants, service providers, and oversight entities.
