Rocket Pool is a liquid staking protocol built on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to deposit a minimum of 0.01 ETH to receive the rETH token. It operates as a non-custodial solution, ensuring that users maintain control over their funds while facilitating decentralized staking.
Launched by a team involved in the staking space since 2016, Rocket Pool enables node operators to join permissionlessly with a requirement of 16 ETH, rather than the standard 32 ETH. Node operators earn a return on investment through both operator commission and rewards in the form of the native token, RPL.
