This project is poorly run. PW are liers and very very inexperienced. There is little to no technical support and it's a lottery if your request for help is answered. If you are looking for a return on investment please walk away as you will not have one. There is no guarantee of what you will earn as PW exploit the saturation loophole in their tokenomics so is a gamble if you will earn full rewards as they sell 5x more licences than they can afford to pay out in their tokenomics. The community seems infiltrated by dishonest yes men who support the project blindly and spread FUD. Dialogue is discouraged as the Moderators banned anyone who doesn't tow the party line on social media. PW are yet to sell the millions of dollars of data they need and a quarter after quarter it's nothing more than empty promises of progress with sales. There are data sales here and there but they are not able to replenish the bins quick enough of substantially enough. Greed and incompetence.

If you manage to successfully purchase your device license and register your devices to start mining it can be a great passive income stream that many people are already earning lots of money from without using much electricity. The problem is that their Android app sucks (look at its reviews on the Google Play Store), The website wont let me register my devices and kyc verification which is required now to start earning is impossible to find on their website, and customer support can be very slow to help if they help at all with issues. I purchased a type 4 license and a type 4 device but cant register it after spending my money because of an error in their app that wont detect my linked algorand wallet. Lots of people on Reddit + Google Play having the same issue.

Their focus is on air quality. They are building a global network of outdoor air quality sensors and people who care about the environment (PlanetWatchers). Some sensors are installed and managed by local residents, with additional sensors being installed by PlanetWatch themselves in partnership with transport and telecommunications companies, local authorities, etc. This approach allows them to rapidly deploy low-cost, high-density air quality monitoring networks which fill a data gap in governmental networks. Best of all they award their PlanetWatchers in Plant tokens for their data. The project is early on, much like Helium was back in the day, and now is the best time to get in on it. Helping the environment and getting paid for doing it, sounds like a no brainer.
