AVAI is an asset pegged to the US Dollar, designed to maintain a value close to $1.00 USD. It is backed by locked collateral tokens in a personal Vault within the Orca Bank, as well as through additional mechanisms outlined in the technical framework.
The process operates in a decentralized manner, allowing users to maintain full control over their funds without the involvement of financial institutions. Users can deposit ERC20 tokens, such as USDC, as collateral to receive AVAI in return. For instance, depositing $150 USD in collateral enables a user to borrow up to 100 AVAI, equivalent to $100 USD, facilitating investment opportunities while maintaining a stable debt.
