Nectar (NECT) is an over-collateralized stablecoin native to the Berachain network, issued through the Beraborrow protocol. It can be redeemed at face value against its underlying collateral. Users must open a Den and deposit an approved Berachain asset as collateral in order to borrow.
The Beraborrow protocol operates as a collateralized debt position (CDP) system, utilizing a Proof-of-Liquidity model. This approach is designed to align the interests of borrowers with the overall Berachain ecosystem.
