Frankencoin is a decentralized protocol issuing ZCHF, a stablecoin tracking the Swiss franc. Unlike centralized stablecoins, it has no issuer holding bank reserves — it's a collateralized debt position (CDP) system: anyone mints ZCHF by locking crypto collateral (ETH, WBTC, tokenized assets) into a position, which must always exceed the ZCHF minted. Repaying the debt burns the ZCHF and releases the collateral; undercollateralized positions are liquidated via market auction, not an oracle price. A reserve pool, capitalized by Frankencoin Pool Shares (FPS), absorbs any shortfall. Frankencoin Shares (FCS) is a 1:1 wrapper of FPS that governs the protocol under improved rules. ZCHF runs on 8 EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, Gnosis, Sonic), with collateral and governance anchored on Ethereum mainnet.
Risk Report
Cryptocurrency carries risk. Every project listed on this site, regardless of its score, operates in a volatile and largely unregulated market. Tokens can lose most or all of their value. A high score reflects lower structural risk based on the data we can measure. It does not mean a project is safe, that the price will hold, or that losses are unlikely. Always research independently and never commit money you cannot afford to lose.
