Vitalik Buterin first conceptualized Ethereum in 2013 with the idea of developing an open-source blockchain platform that would enable smart contracts and a global computer. It enables developers to build decentralized applications (DApps) on its blockchain. Ether (ETH) is the native digital currency of the Ethereum platform. The Ethereum network went live on July 30, 2015, with 73 million Ether pre-mined.

The project that makes bitcoin maxis abandon libertarianism and truth in favor of government bootlicking to destroy competition. Despite not sacrificing node requirements for scalability to lower fees (one can run an archive node on a raspberrypi 4 see twitter @ethereumonarm), ethereum remains the blockchain where people are most willing to spend their own money. (See cryptofees dot com). It is a black hole of research and development, attracts and holds the brightest minds of the industry. Of course, during bull markets it also attracts scammers and bad founders, but would you blame windows, linux, ios or android if someone makes a bad application that runs on it? Of course not. Now for the bad side: The huge number of people it attracts also means the percentage of bad people increase. Eth users MUST keep rejecting proposals that threat decentralization, the most important one being hardware requirements to run a full node. It must stay cheap. High loads happen on L2s.

This coin is a shit-coin factory with its "revolutionary" smart contracts. All the crypto scams have been built on the ETH's chain skyrocketing its blockchain "usage" and he ETH gas fees. This is why it has a so high price while in reality it is not even a pure crypto. A huge part of the ETH coins was premined and allocated to its founders addresses in order to sell them to people. It is really questionable how some people consider this thing a real cryptocurrency. They hide the truth from the people.

70% premined to make its founders rich. So you can hardly consider that it honors the original crypto idea. Actually it fast turned into a joke with crazy gas fees and acting as the no1 shitoken scam factory that disgraces more and more the cryptocurrency world. Like many other copycats are trying to do nowadays. A real shame. Find out which are real cryptocurrencies with ZERO premine and fair rules and stop this nonsense.

A platform for running Ponzi schemes. No useful dApp yet. Only cryptokitties? Huge blockchain, scaling issues. Centralized (post-DAO hack fork proved it)
