Been around 8+ years and is still here. 5 mining algorithms. Extremely fast coin, very secure coin. I do wish they would spread more awareness, but this is a coin of the future for sure.

DigiByte is one of the best coins on the market today there is FULL STOP! Why is it so great? Because of the amazing technology behind it. Fees are under 1/100 of a cent for any amount you could want to send and transactions are nearly instant.
DGB really is what cryptocurrencies were meant to be, peer to peer cash. But there is so much more behind DGB. It really is amazing that foundation (non profit) that's behind it has a bigger vision than just creating a currency. They envision a WHOLE CYBERSECURITY protocol.
DGB can be used to replace and secure web certificates, real-estate and even accounts like the new Digi-ID does (www.digi-id.io). Digi-ID allows for the replacement of usernames/passwords making login faster and exponentially increasing security. You'll never forget a password again.
Digi-ID has recently been adopted by www.devina.es, and is being looked at by other large companies such as DX.Exchange.
DigiByte can even host Dapps in a similar way that ETH can make.
Of course there are some problems behind DGB, but that's normal. They are still only around number 50 on CMC, but so what? That just means you can get a ton of DGB and for cheap...!
