BitTorrent was initially conceived by Bram Cohen, a peer-to-peer protocol for users to transfer files around the world. The BitTorrent Token (BTT), a TRC-10 token is created on top of the TRON blockchain platform as a way to extend the capability of BitTorrent. The token is added to introduce some economics feature on BitTorrent for networking, bandwidth, and storage resources to be shared and tradeed. Some of the other feature that BitTorrent Token (BTT) offers would be BitTorrent Speed. This is whereby BTT tokens can be big in exchange for faster download speed. So I recently decided to start seeding torrents with Bittorent Speed enabled so I can earn some extra BTT. Disabled 'Increase speed with BTT' in the settings menu, and then left for work. Sometime later I got home excited to see if I earned some BTT, and guess what surprise surprise, instead of earning anything I lost BTT, for seeding 100% downloaded torrents???? Oh well, knowing myself I must have done something wrong right? Whatever let's try again... A few hours in, the same thing happened. Magically the switch in the settings was enabled again for no apparent reason. (None else has access to my PC) So can anyone pls tell me how the hell am I losing BTT on already downloaded torrents(100%)? And why the hell does the switch automagically enables itself? Man, this really pissed me off! Not that anyone cares but, I have two nodes running BTFS 1 and 2 and I'm considering killing them and moving to Storj. Providing support for scammers is a no-go I guess.
