12/ JAN / 2019 Dear AgaveCoin Holder This press release is to inform the entire community of holders who have relied on this project about the unfortunate hack that we suffered recently. During the same a strong amount of tokens were extracted from the address AgaveCoin. The hacking The hacking took place on January 12 of this year, at 5:49 hrs. The hacker made a massive withdrawal of 8.550 million agavecoin. Subsequently, he contacted us via email to request a bitcoin for every million stolen tokens. Immediately, our team communicated with the exchanges to ask them to close all the operations of our currency and we proceeded to burn the AGVC token as well as the contract of origin of the same. With this measure it can no longer be used in the market. Measures taken The pertinent expert investigations are currently underway and we are working with our legal advisors to file a complaint with the competent authority. We regret what happened and we asked the holders of AgaveCoin for calm and understanding.
