What is zkApes Token?

zkApes is a metaverse project launched on September 1, 2022, utilizing the zkSync Era to develop a virtual environment called Apeverse. The project focuses on creating a metaverse ecosystem comprised of various products, including Apes NFTs, dNFTs, a decentralized NFT exchange (DEX), and an NFT browser. As of now, zkApes has a significant user base with over 100,000 Discord members and 140,000 Twitter followers, and it has introduced the zkApes token ($ZAT), with more than 200,000 on-chain holders.

The ecosystem aims to facilitate entertainment, education, interaction, and expression among users. Future developments include the launch of dNFTs and NFTFi features, allowing users to stake and lend NFTs. zkApes is also planning collaborations with game projects for inclusion in the Apeverse game lobby. The zkApes token is intended to enable community-driven governance within the ecosystem.
