What is Zetrix?

Zetrix is a layer-1 public permissioned blockchain that supports smart contracts while focusing on privacy, security, and scalability. It utilizes a consensus mechanism that combines Delegated Proof of Stake and Zetrix Byzantine Fault Tolerance to achieve high transaction speeds, with a reported capacity of up to 10,000 transactions per second. Founded in 2021, Zetrix is designed to serve international markets outside of China and is led by MYEG Services Berhad in collaboration with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

The project works closely with Bubi Technologies Co., a significant player in blockchain technology in China, to advance the development of national blockchain infrastructure. The partnership aims to establish supernodes within countries participating in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, thereby integrating Zetrix with existing blockchain systems, such as China's Xinghuo Blockchain Infrastructure.
