What is yearn.finance?

Yearn Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol launched by Andre Cronje in 2020, operating on the Ethereum blockchain. It offers services such as lending aggregation, yield generation, and insurance, and is governed by its native token holders known as YFI. The protocol automates capital allocation across various platforms like dYdX, AAVE, and Compound based on fluctuating interest rates to optimize returns for users.
