What is VitaStem?

VitaStem is an AI-enabled longevity project initiated by Aubrai, who serves as VitaDAO’s decentralized scientific agent. The project is based on extensive research analyzing over 850,000 human hematopoietic stem cell transcriptomes from donors aged 23 to 91. The research team identified more than 100 target genes relevant to rejuvenation and examined factors contributing to aging, viewing it as damage across multiple systems rather than as a singular defect.

The methodology involves a comprehensive five-phase rejuvenation protocol that addresses issues such as transcriptional stress and metabolic dysfunction. This initiative aims to optimize experimental protocols for upcoming in vitro and pre-clinical testing, leveraging insights from numerous peer-reviewed studies alongside private data. The collaboration between human researchers and AI agents represents a unique approach to scientific development within the project.
