What is Vana?

Vana is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain network founded to allow users to transform personal data into financial assets through the aggregation of private datasets for AI model training. It enables individuals to tokenize and monetize their data within Data Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (Data DAOs), giving them ownership and control over their digital information.

The network features Data Liquidity Pools (DLPs), where users can submit data that is validated and tokenized to create data tokens representing the value of their contributions. Vana uses a Proof-of-Contribution system to maintain data quality and integrity, while participants, including data contributors and validators, are rewarded with $VANA tokens as part of an incentive structure aimed at encouraging high-quality data provision.
