What is USDCx (Stacks)?

USDCx is a stablecoin backed 1:1 by USDC, issued via Circle xReserve and operating on the Stacks blockchain. The system utilizes xReserve for cryptographic attestations related to deposits and minting, along with Circle Gateway and CCTP for cross-chain transactions.

This stablecoin aims to maintain seamless usability across various platforms, including Ethereum and Solana, while ensuring settlement occurs on Bitcoin through Stacks. The architecture eliminates reliance on third-party bridges or wrapped assets, promoting liquidity cohesion.
