What is Universal Basic Income?

Universal Basic Income (UBI) is an application utilizing the Proof of Humanity registry, a mechanism developed by Kleros to prevent Sybil attacks. It operates on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing verified users to receive UBI tokens streamed to their Ethereum addresses, contingent on their human verification status.

The project aims to facilitate universal access to liquidity and intends to create a reliable self-sovereign identity validation process. This infrastructure supports the distribution of UBI, designed to mitigate financial coercion in public decision-making, and allows for trading in open markets.
