What is Ultima?

Ultima (ULTIMA) is the infrastructure token for the Ultima ecosystem, which utilizes a Smart Blockchain based on a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm. The network is designed for high scalability, capable of processing up to 2000 transactions per second, generating a new block approximately every three seconds, and maintaining low transaction costs.

Launched in March 2023, the Ultima ecosystem comprises various blockchain products, including DeFi-U, which allows users to earn staking rewards in Ultima tokens, and a marketplace.
