What is TrueFi?

TrueFi is an uncollateralized lending protocol in decentralized finance developed by the TrustToken team. It allows lenders to lend cryptocurrencies and lets borrowers obtain loans with predictable loan rates without pledging collateral, unlike collateral-based lending systems.

The project describes a longer term goal of operating as a market-driven and automated credit rating and lending system. It also mentions that moving beyond constraints such as minimum and maximum APY levels and high TRU participation factor would require additional user responsibilities, including onboarding new borrowers beyond a pre-approved whitelist and approving new loan types.
