What is TrueUSD?

TrueUSD (TUSD) is a digital asset that is backed 1:1 by the U.S. dollar and is supported by live on-chain attestations from independent third-party institutions. It operates on twelve public blockchains, including Ethereum, TRON, and Binance Smart Chain, and has been listed on over 100 trading platforms. TUSD is attested to in real-time by an accounting firm in the U.S., ensuring that its reserves match the circulating token supply.

As of October 7, 2022, TrueUSD holds statutory status as an authorized digital currency and medium of exchange in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The integration of Chainlink's Proof of Reserve further reinforces the token's transparency and reliability. The project aims to maintain a 100% collateral rate for its USD reserves.
