What is Sui?

Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain created by Mysten Labs, founded by former lead engineers from Meta’s blockchain division. The platform employs the Move programming language and features an object-centric data model that allows for parallel execution of transactions. This design aims to provide a secure and high-speed environment for digital asset ownership and Web3 applications, while supporting horizontal scaling to maintain stable fees and rapid transaction finalization.
