What is Smart MFG?

Smart MFG, founded in 2018, focuses on tokenizing Real-World Assets (RWAs) and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePin) specifically within the manufacturing supply chain. It is known for creating the Hardware NFT, which facilitates on-chain asset management, aiming to enhance efficiency and transparency. The project also seeks to empower individual creators by integrating blockchain technology with custom RWA value creation, including AI-assisted Design for Manufacture (DFM) and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions like MakerFi.

The project has collaborated with notable companies such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ford, SpaceX, and Lockheed, as well as industry organizations like MOBI and the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. Smart MFG plans to launch its MFG Phigital 1.0 in Fall 2024 and MFG Phigital 2.0 in Spring 2025, which will connect physical RWAs with digital designs and NFTs using decentralized infrastructure, smart contracts, and on-chain escrow.
