What is SingularityNET?

SingularityNET is a decentralized marketplace aimed at facilitating interactions between creators and users of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It addresses the gap between AI developers and businesses seeking customized solutions by allowing various AI agents to collaborate on tasks. This collaboration enhances the overall capability of the AI system, enabling it to grow through shared experiences and data. SingularityNET's long-term goal is to evolve into a comprehensive functioning AI system, providing seamless connections among services and solving various academic and business challenges.

Founded by Dr. Ben Goertzel, who serves as CEO and Chief Scientist, SingularityNET's team includes over 50 AI developers and more than 10 PhDs, with Dr. David Hanson as the Robotics Lead. The platform is built upon the resources of the OpenCog Foundation and integrates the capabilities of humanoid robot Sophia. Currently, the platform has released an alpha version, with plans for a public beta launch. The system incorporates a tokenized approach to create a marketplace for AI services, enabling the buying and selling of AI solutions.
