What is Sentient?

Sentient is focused on developing an open-source platform for artificial general intelligence (AGI) that aims to provide a decentralized alternative to existing closed systems from major corporations. The project utilizes a collaborative network called the Sentient GRID, consisting of over 100 partners who contribute agents, models, data, and computational resources.

Founded to address concerns over closed-source AGI, Sentient seeks to ensure that this technology remains accessible and community-driven rather than controlled by a select few entities.
