What is QuStream?

QuStream is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on quantum-safe encryption for securing digital assets and sensitive data against potential threats from quantum computing. Founded by Adrian Neal, a blockchain security expert, the project aims to develop a more resilient network to address vulnerabilities in existing cryptographic models. QuStream's encryption technology features a unique dynamic private key system designed to enhance security by generating a new, linked key for each transaction.

The blockchain operates on a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism and utilizes a sharded infrastructure to ensure scalability and high transaction throughput. The native token, QST, is used for transaction processing, validator staking, and governance. Initially launched on Solana, QST will transition to the native QuStream blockchain upon mainnet deployment. The encryption technology also extends beyond the blockchain, targeting applications in financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, and government data protection.
