What is QuStream?

QuStream is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to provide quantum-safe encryption for digital assets and transactions. Founded by Adrian Neal, a blockchain security expert, the project addresses vulnerabilities in current cryptographic models by employing a patent-pending encryption algorithm. This algorithm replaces static private keys with a dynamic system, enhancing security against both quantum and classical threats. QuStream aims to offer high quantum resistance, boasting a quantum hardness of 504 bits.

The network operates on a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism with decentralized validator nodes and a sharded infrastructure for scalability. The QST token is integral to the ecosystem, facilitating transaction processing, validator staking, and governance. Initially launched on Solana, the token will migrate to the native QuStream blockchain upon mainnet deployment. QuStream’s encryption technology is targeted for various applications, including financial institutions and government-level data protection, aiming to provide enhanced security against future quantum computing challenges.
