What is Particl?

Particl is an open-source, decentralized privacy platform that operates on blockchain technology, allowing for the development of various decentralized applications (DApps) within its secure environment. The platform is built on the Bitcoin Core codebase and utilizes the native currency, PART, designed specifically to enhance transaction privacy. Particl features mechanisms such as Cold Staking, where users can delegate staking to nodes without holding coins, and offers different privacy states for transactions: Public, Blind, and Anonymous.

The platform includes a decentralized marketplace that prioritizes privacy while enabling low-cost e-commerce transactions. It supports a variety of cryptocurrencies through atomic swaps and other integrations, converting incoming transactions into PART to leverage its privacy features. Governed by the Particl community, all fees generated from the marketplace are distributed to PART coin holders, ensuring their involvement in the network's security and economic framework.
