What is Non-Playable Coin?

Non-Playable Coin (NPC) is a meme coin and NFT-hybrid designed for a global user base, inspired by a popular meme from 2018. It operates as an ERC20 token, with a total supply matching the human population as of July 26, 2023. Each token can be converted into an NFT at a 1:1 rate, allowing for trading on decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap and NFT marketplaces. This functional design classifies NPC as a meme fungible token (MFT), bridging the liquidity of traditional tokens and NFTs.

The project emerged from experimentation with NFT automated market makers and seeks to demonstrate the potential for larger community engagement through the ERC1155 standard. The team aims to provide customization options for users to personalize their NPCs and develop infrastructure to enhance liquidity connections between ERC20 and ERC1155 tokens.
