What is LGCY Network?

LGCY Network is a Layer 1, proof-of-stake decentralized network that operates on the Supernova Mainnet. It is designed to handle 10,000 transactions per second with an average transaction cost of $0.01. The network utilizes the Libertas Protocol, emphasizing a decentralized approach for decentralized applications (dApps).

The governance of LGCY Network is managed through a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) system, which incorporates a structure of 27 Governing Bodies (GBs) divided into three branches. This model aims to limit the influence of any single token holder by establishing terms for governance, promoting a balanced distribution of power within the network.
