What is Isiklar Coin?

Turgut Isik, founder of Isiklar Holding A.S., was born in Bartin in 1932. He established Isiklar Collective Company in 1952 with Ali Riza Isik, later forming Isiklar Limited Company with Sezai Turkes and Fevzi Akkaya and converting it into a corporation. He also developed manufacturing, construction, maritime, and holding activities and gathered his companies under Isiklar Holding A.S. in 1974. He died on 26 March 1990, and a health and education foundation related to his plans was established by his family in 1991.

In 2019, Isiklar Holding decided to use blockchain technology and created Isiklar Coin (ISIKC). Isiklar Coin Bulgaria LTD, a Bulgaria-based company, creates the coin as an affiliate-based utility token for the ISIKC platform, intended to serve long-term partners and suppliers. ISIKC is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. The description indicates the token is used in a customer loyalty program, but further governance and supply cap details are not provided.
