What is DEEPSPACE?

DEEPSPACE is a space exploration strategy game in which blockchain NFTs represent game assets such as ships and equipment. Players can mint starships or purchase them through a proprietary NFT marketplace, then select up to four ships from a fleet to explore a 3D space-based universe, engage other players, and interact with planets and locations. The project uses the $DPS token as in-game currency, and trading includes upgradeable smart NFTs, along with ships, cores, and other item types.

The decentralized exchange hub, referred to as Outpost, supports buying, selling, and trading ships, cores, and other upgradeable Smart NFTs via an integrated marketplace application. The game includes exploration, harvesting, racing, and combat, with racing supported by a track builder that allows creation and sharing of custom racetracks. Four ship archetypes exist: Fighters, Tank, Mining, and Support, each with eight stats including attack, shields, speed, luck, mining, and health, plus temporary and permanent modifications. Gameplay also includes resource mining for raw materials used in add-ons and modifications, and battles in PvP and PvE formats against other players or NPCs.
