What is Conflux?

Conflux is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to connect decentralized economies globally. It operates using a hybrid consensus mechanism of Proof of Work and Proof of Stake, offering a scalable blockchain environment characterized by low fees and enhanced network security. Unique as the only public blockchain compliant with regulations in China, Conflux collaborates with various brands and governmental entities for blockchain initiatives in Asia.

The native token of the Conflux Network is CFX, which serves multiple purposes, including fee payments and staking to secure the network. Each CFX token can be divided into 10^18 units known as Drip. Transactions on Conflux resemble those on the Ethereum network, where users set gas limits and prices in CFX. CFX can also be utilized for governance participation, staking for network interest, and covering transaction costs.
