What is Caldera?

Caldera is a rollup platform built on the Ethereum blockchain, aimed at enhancing horizontal scaling and interoperability among various rollups. It allows projects to create customizable rollups that uphold Ethereum's security and decentralized nature.

The platform features a component called the Metalayer, which serves as a unifying layer to connect rollups that utilize Optimistic and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) frameworks.
