What is Bancor Governance?

vBNT serves as the governance token for Bancor, created when users stake BNT in approved pools, signifying their percentage ownership in those pools. It functions similarly to a liquidity provider token but also allows its holders to participate in the governance of Bancor.

With the introduction of the Vortex feature, vBNT holders can leverage their staked liquidity by swapping vBNT for other tokens within the network. This offers additional utility to the token beyond governance participation.
