What is AtomOne?

AtomOne is a community-driven fork of the Cosmos Hub, emphasizing decentralization, governance, and validator security through a minimalist IBC hub design. It features a dual-token model comprising ATONE, used for staking and governance, and PHOTON, which facilitates transaction and IBC fees. The network's governance structure is reinforced by a formal on-chain constitution and several DAOs, including the Steering and Oversight DAOs, promoting transparency without a centralized foundation.

Optimized for Interchain Security 1.5 (ICS 1.5), AtomOne allows application-specific consumer chains to utilize the security provided by its validator set while maintaining their sovereignty. The project is designed as a modular, Cosmos-native blockchain, aimed at functioning as a secure coordination hub within the interchain ecosystem. It prioritizes fair token distribution and DAO-managed treasuries, without any allocations to venture capital or foundational entities.
