What is Aster?

Aster is a decentralized perpetual exchange that integrates non-custodial trading features and multi-chain support. It was established in late 2024 through the merger of Astherus and APX Finance, allowing APX token holders to convert their holdings to the ASTER token. The platform facilitates trading of cryptocurrency perpetuals and U.S. stocks with leverage options of up to 100x, utilizing a fully on-chain settlement process.

Operating across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum, Aster pools liquidity to minimize slippage during large trades. It offers two trading modes: Simple Mode, which features one-click trading with high leverage, and Pro Mode, which includes advanced tools like automated grid trading. The ASTER token enables governance participation, staking rewards, and other incentives for both traders and liquidity providers. Notably, the platform has backing from YZi Labs and advisory support from Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance.
