What is ARKEO?

Arkeo is a decentralized marketplace designed to convert raw blockchain RPC bandwidth into a tradable asset. It operates on the Cosmos SDK and connects node operators, referred to as “providers,” with decentralized applications, wallets, exchanges, and AI agents that need efficient access to blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cosmos.

Providers utilize ARKEO tokens as collateral for marketplace participation, linking their bonded amount to service performance. Compensation is earned through validated RPC calls, while any failures in uptime or accuracy may result in slashing a portion of their bond. Consumers can choose providers based on published metrics regarding price, latency, and reliability, and the ARKEO token also provides governance capabilities concerning fee structures and slashing parameters.
