What is Aragon?

Aragon is a project focused on providing tools for launching and managing Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). Established in 2016, it created the first DAO framework, facilitating the establishment of over 5,000 DAOs and securing significant value for various projects. The project recently introduced the Aragon OSx protocol and a no-code Aragon App, operational on Ethereum and Polygon.

Governance within the Aragon ecosystem is managed by holders of the Aragon Network Token (ANT) through the Aragon DAO. The project is developed by teams distributed globally, emphasizing a structure designed to enhance experimentation with governance mechanisms.
