What is Alto DUSD?

Alto is a decentralized credit and incentives protocol founded to operate with its collateral-backed stablecoin, DUSD. DUSD is the primary asset used for borrowing within the protocol, allowing users to engage in activities such as borrowing, lending, and minting by leveraging various assets including ETH, LSTs, and tBTC as collateral.

The protocol features isolated markets, designed to prevent issues in one market from impacting others. The governance of the protocol is managed by stakers of the ALTO token, who also receive a portion of the protocol's fees. This structure aims to simplify accounting, risk management, and capital flows within the system.
