What is Aborean?

Aborean Finance is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and liquidity hub built on the Abstract blockchain. It utilizes its native governance and reward token, ABX, to facilitate on-chain trading and liquidity incentives. Aborean is a fork of Aerodrome, optimized for Abstract’s architecture, and functions as an automated market maker (AMM) enabling seamless swaps and liquidity provision.

Through the use of veABX, a system derived from the “ve(3,3)” model, users can lock ABX to gain voting power and earn protocol rewards. Each epoch, holders of veABX vote on liquidity pools to manage emissions, thereby influencing the distribution of ABX incentives. Aborean also plans to serve as a launchpad for ecosystem tokens and integrate various tools to enhance liquidity and cooperation across protocols.
